Need to add more preamps to your lunchbox or rack? Need to use up those spare parts (e.g. the contents of an API 312 card)? Want to do it yourself, learn something, and save money? Whether you're looking for a unique sound, or a custom clone, DIY500 makes it possible. Check it out!
If you don't want to build it yourself, ask about the Eisen Audio Custom preamp service. Prices are often less than those of comparable commercially available preamps, and the tonal varieties are limitless.
The limited edition of Eisen Audio LILPEQr 500 Series Program Equalizers sold out in three days. Thanks to ongoing demand for more, the LILPEQr has been reissued by Purple Audio (read: unlimited edition!). Ed Anderson hooked us up with a custom input transformer, and now the new units sound exactly the same as the originals!!! We are expecting the first batch to ship sometime in January. Also, please note that the production model will look nicer than the AES prototype currently pictured, having larger EQ knobs and better spacing.
In the meantime, we are hard at work doing tech service and designing products for other companies such as You Pretty Duck and Glide On Fade.
